4th Edition of School Checklist

Doha, Qatar, 18 August 2026: Msheireb Properties, Qatar’s leading sustainable real estate developer, has launched the fourth edition of School Checklist: Back to School 2026, its annual back-to-school programme at Msheireb Galleria, offering children and families ten days of educational, interactive and entertaining experiences ahead of the new academic year.

Running daily from 20 to 29 August, from 4.00pm to 10.00pm on the first floor of Msheireb Galleria, this year’s edition is reimagined as a board game quest that turns the journey back to school into a playful adventure. Visitors begin at registration, where each child receives a career hat representing a profession they may one day grow into, from firefighter and doctor to engineer, police officer, farmer and postal worker, before moving between themed stations to take on challenges, collect stamps and work towards a final reward. Entry to the experience is ticketed.

The programme brings together a range of government, educational and community organisations, including the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Msheireb Museums, Logiscool, Karwa Academy, the Sustainable Development Goals Ambassadors Center, Jamm Studios and Qatar Charity. Each partner hosts its own station built around a learning-based game connected to its field of expertise, while the main stage runs a daily programme of partner-led segments, science shows, workshops, storytelling sessions and children’s performances.

Noora Al Qubaisi, Communication and Public Relations Manager at Msheireb Properties, said: “School Checklist reflects our commitment to creating meaningful experiences that bring the community together. Through our collaboration with government, educational and community partners, we are creating an engaging environment where children can learn, play and give back, while families prepare for the new academic year in the heart of the city.”

Giving back sits at the centre of the experience. Children who complete their checklist receive a key to a locker of their own at the collection and donation station, where they find a gift marking the end of their journey and leave a school supply donation in its place. Items gathered over the ten days will be directed to students and families in need in collaboration with Qatar Charity.

Additionally, an arcade area gives families a place to unwind alongside a selection from food and beverage vendors, while a stationery station offers school supplies, back-to-school packs and donation packs that children can purchase and contribute. Families can also complete their preparations for the new academic year across Msheireb Galleria’s retail outlets.

Through School Checklist, Msheireb Properties continues to create community-focused experiences that encourage learning and family participation, reinforcing Msheireb Galleria’s role as a year-round destination for residents and visitors in the heart of Msheireb Downtown Doha.
